Build positive relationships with people who aren’t always open to your ideas?
The answer is, "Effective Presentation Skills". When you can move others to action, you gain confidence and credibility. It’s not surprising that effective speaking is often a prerequisite for career advancement.
Our workshops help participants become more relaxed and confident in any setting, from small meetings with co-workers to keynote presentations. The workshops offer several speaking opportunities so participants can receive verbal and written feedback from classmates and the instructor. Videotaping helps people see and hear themselves so they can keep what works and make adjustments as needed. Each person receives an Effective Presentations Workbook.
Small class size ensures interactive sessions and individual attention. A major benefit of attending this workshop is that you’ll prepare and improve a presentation which you can use in a real life situation. Most important, you’ll have fun participating.

Our instructors are experienced communication pros. We can easily respond to your needs in specific areas such as, reviewing delivery fundamentals, organizing a persuasive message, designing high-impact visual aids, or handling questions from the audience. Effective Presentations Workshop (Two Days)
This workshop is especially effective for professionals with little experience presenting who want to learn a systematic approach. Short lectures, class discussions, workbook activities, and “on-your-feet” practice allow for in-depth exploration of each topic. Participants prepare a 10-minute presentation to deliver on Day 2, based on the following content areas.
- Using body language to show confidence and credibility.
- Building a simple, organized message based on audience research.
- Using stories, illustrations, and analogies to punctuate key points.
- Designing and using visual aids to complement, not compensate for your message.
- Addressing audience questions and distractions.
Effective Presentations – The Basics (One Day)
Recommended for more experienced speakers who want to brush-up skills and learn new techniques, this one day session focuses on looking and feeling comfortable as a speaker. Some of the same topics covered in the two-day version are included, but with less time allotted to organizing content.
