The Relationship Building Workshop® has been helpful to hundreds of major gifts and planned giving officers for over 15 years. This unique program teaches "consultative selling skills" that allow you to connect with new prospects and to nurture existing relationships. Appropriate asking and listening skills help you build a connection between the donor’s passion and your mission. As a result, you can secure more gifts sooner.
Carol Moreland facilitates the program, which is highly interactive and includes an individual DiSC Personal Profile for each attendee. Learning methods include group discussions, “role play" practice sessions, workbook exercises, and other activities. Participants learn from the formal instruction as well as from fellow classmates about the best ways to put the new skills into practice. More than 70% of participants “close" their real donor cases within 60 days after attending the workshop.
